Apple must share some responsibility because you would think that with printer drivers being such a key part of a software update it would be in the interests of all the parties to be talking to each other at some managerial level to ensure that all runs smoothly. I had earlier tried to install 10.6 drivers from the SL install disk and from the 10.6. Given that the HP Designjet 130nr is apparently supported in 10.6 and it is so similar to the 120nr, I can't see why HP can't easily update the 120nr (or give me a 130nr to replace their now deliberately obsoleted 120nr printer).Īfter suffering similar problems to other posters re the HP drivers, I managed to get my Officejet 5610 finally printing. Is HP going to orphan the HP Designjet 120nr large format printer in Snow Leopard?Īt present because there is no support for this printer in 10.6, I have had to install the 10.5 driver and that works (though I guess only in 32 bit applications).
