HP 1320 DRIVER FOR MAC OS X DRIVERS
Apple must share some responsibility because you would think that with printer drivers being such a key part of a software update it would be in the interests of all the parties to be talking to each other at some managerial level to ensure that all runs smoothly. Acers Iconia Android and Chrome OS tablets start at 7 inches and are built. Like any developer, they must have had access to pre-release copies of 10.6 and their software engineers should have been working on their driver development to coincide with Apple's release date.

I look forward to the 10.6 drivers in due course and still think HP should have done a lot better with this issue. I've no idea why it didn't work at first or why it now works - dumb luck or serendipity, I guess. A page of graphics and text from MS Word 2008 has also printed fine. However, on booting up the Mac this morning and trying to print a page from Safari, to my surprise it worked - a relatively complex page of colour graphics and text printed fine. When I trialled the driver nothing printed. I then re-installed the 10.5 drivers using a fresh download from HP's website and set them up within the system preference pane. I deleted all drivers from the 'Print & Fax' system preference pane and also uninstalled the HP 10.5 legacy drivers from my Applications folder - using the HP uninstaller. However, I persisted with the method some posters have had success with. It seems as if there are significant gaps in the driver range included in this. This download includes the latest HP printing and scanning software for macOS. The HP LaserJet 1320, a portable residence and office monochrome ink-jet printer, might not be the most inexpensive small-office laser available, however it. dmg file of drivers available from Apple's website - all to no avail.

I had earlier tried to install 10.6 drivers from the SL install disk and from the 10.6. Given that the HP Designjet 130nr is apparently supported in 10.6 and it is so similar to the 120nr, I can't see why HP can't easily update the 120nr (or give me a 130nr to replace their now deliberately obsoleted 120nr printer).Īfter suffering similar problems to other posters re the HP drivers, I managed to get my Officejet 5610 finally printing. Is HP going to orphan the HP Designjet 120nr large format printer in Snow Leopard?Īt present because there is no support for this printer in 10.6, I have had to install the 10.5 driver and that works (though I guess only in 32 bit applications).
